finally figured this out

Hey ya'll

I finally figured out what I was doing wrong so now I can post stuff. Turns out that I sort of signed up twice and one of the accounts wasn't hooked up to any specific blog. Now I'm good.

Anyway, hope all is well with everyone. I'm getting fat and feel very squishy but that's okay. And I get heartburn. We are going to have the ultrasound at the end of this month so you will all know what we are having then. Scott thinks it's a girl.

I just planted some herbs in our new back yard. I hope they grow. I totally don't know anything about gardening but want to learn. We'll see.

Hey, in case any of you haven't read some of the comments that I have left elsewhere, I have picked a book to read. The Great Divorce by CS Lewis. Let's say we should finish by the end of June. Is that enough/too much time? Let me know.

Well, now I feel like I know what I am doing.

Kathy, Have you moved? I don't know anything about it. Where is this new garden?

I'm excited you're getting fat! I'm excited to hear of your ultrasound.

Hi, Kathy! when are you due? I also feel I am getting big. I guess my body figures this is my 4th one and it remembers how the program goes. I totally feel a difference though now that i am so much older. Very tired.

My doctor told me to watch how much fruit I eat. She asked if I eat a lot. I said "no, should I?" and she said "well, when people are gaining weight so fast it is usually because they are eating a lot of fruit". I think she was trying to be nice. It is not the fruit, it is the McDonalds drive through. Already gained 25 pounds, which is a lot for my short little body.

Plan to get the book soon from the library, it isn't one I have for some reason.

take care! emily

I gained 35 lbs. with each pregnancy and always felt like that was a lot! Emily, I bet you're right on track! Each pregnancy gets harder my doctor says. I absolutely believe that. I think the deliveries are easier, though, so there's some compensation. Good luck to both of you!

With Jonah I gained almost 40 pounds but with the last two I lost weight and gained baby weight at the same time! Thanks to gestational diabetes!! I am fatter now than when Sasha was born because I love sugar and carbs. I have zero discipline since my health is not at stake or a little babys health.

Are you (Emily and Kathy) feeling the babies move yet? I think that is the coolest part of being pregnant-- that and seeing little knees and elbows poke your stomach once they get so big.... Vaughn thinks its pretty creepy, a little too alien-ish for him. Funny, huh!

Well Im off for a bowl of very chocolatey ice cream!! Yum...
