Ok... So I think I want to change the book if there is not too much objection!
Vaughn and I saw the movie "I Am David" tonight and we both just really loved it. The movie is based on a children's book with the same title, written some time ago. It was originally written in Danish and translated into English. Lots of the reviews said its a great book to read with your kids if they are old enough, (Kathy!!). So, I'd like to read it!! It (the book) had excellent reviews and sounds really good, although the movie, sadly, did not have great rewiews. We still really liked it. (I liked the cinematography in it and the music.)
So my official book choice (unless someone hates the idea so much they can't stand it) is I Am David by Anne Holm. On my library website it said it was previously published under the title North to Freedom, if that helps.
So happy reading. Let's all go out and get the book. But I still need to write my review of the fantastic Great Divorce. I'll do that soon.
XOXOXO

Hey Steph,
That sounds great! I'm all for it. I haven't got Moby Dick yet so I'll start looking for I am David. How long is the book?
Anyway, I just finished quilting the baby's quilt. Now I just need to do the binding. Thank Heavens!
Okay, bye bye!
Kathy
The book is a little over 200 pages but it is a youth book so it should not be too difficult. It is at the library but I just bought it at Borders for about $6.00, paperback. Hope we enjoy it!
xoxoxo
bought my copy... I'm in!
