Hey, Tina I don't know anything about either one. I have only HEARD of The Secret Life of Bees. So I'm good with which ever one you choose.
Did Berrett tell you that I called Friday? I LOVE the hat. I'll have to post a photo. Jake carries the whale and octopus around all the time and I've been wearing my necklace ever since I got the package. THANKS SO MUCH!!
ok---let's do About a Boy. I haven't seen the movie, but I'll be sure to rent it before our actual review. I started the book yesterday and I finished it today. It's not exactly short, but it's an easy and fun book to read. Let me know when you finish!
Nor do I know what ISO means. Nanc- you live in your own little Acronymlandia! I remember when I came home from Argentina, I couldn't understand you. BB&W, BR, ON, WHAT?!?
Well I don't know if I am ISO or not. Idiotic Stupid Oss? or Isn't She Owsome? or Icky Smelly Old? or I Smell Oranges? That last one doesn't make sense!
Anyway, I'm hip to the book. I am however playing catch up in my OTHER book club. I'm trying to finish Agony and the Ecstacy which is really really long. And I need to read the No. 1 Ladie's Detective Agency for this month. But I'll read whatever you tell me!
Emily, I just got the book online ($3.10 with shipping) It is the same as the movie and I have seen it. If I remember it correctly, I did like it so I'm excited to read it. I am finishing The Peacemaker for the book club in my ward here. It's a totally easy read and I like it. Anyway, looking forward to read this one, too!

I didn't think Secret Life of Bees was all that great but my mom loved it so I'd read it again or whatever anyone picks
Is About a Boy the same as the movie? Might be interesting to read and compare

I vote for About a Boy. I hear it's a lot of people's favorite. Let's do it! XOXxoxo

kathy, berrett didn't tell me you called (which is unlike him!), but I'm glad the hat fit and everyone was happy! Thanks for letting me know!
