tea, nuggets, shoes

My kids are loving the pictures of food and begged me to photograph this delicious peach tea we've been drinking. We added the background gourd thing and the felted mat to make it artsy. I don't think we exactly succeeded. But, the tea is tasty! Try this: 3 peach tea bags/3-5 c. boiling water (or other spice tea)-steep a while, then cool. Then add a quart or two of white cranberry peach juice. It's totally refreshing and delicious!

This delightful picture is sweet Lila's leftover vegetarian chik'n nugget with honey for dippin'. Now I know you'll be tempted! These were actually really good for a kid!

And finally, these are my shoes for the wedding. Cheap at Target. They are brown, not black. What do you think???

Love the shoes! I tried to find what you described when I went to Tarshe (sp?) this evening with no luck. Those are totally cute! I'll have to try the peach HERB tea. I love that kind of stuff. Also, did you make that melted matte? If so, how?

kathy, i did make the mat, but it's not melted! it's felted. i made it with this wool roving stuff that's really fun to work with. i made these cool bowls too. i'll post a picture if i have one on my computer. it's easy to work with, but takes some practice getting exactly what you want.
