Our Thanksgiving

Hi Everyone! Here are a few photos from yesterday. Thanks to Steph and Mom our turkey was FABULOSO!! Thank you! How do you guys also like my new hair? I like it and everyone compliments me but I haven't figured our more than one way to do it. Anyway, we had a great dinner and it was fun hanging out with our friends and especially not getting stressed about making a million things. I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving!

kathy, i totally have that shirt!! !que casualidid!

your food made me hungry again! and i've been eating all day! the turkey looks perfect!

i love your hair! i think really blonde is best for you! your hair just lightens up to the nicest color--no weird reddiness or brassiness. it's a cute cut and a cute color! i like your glasses too.

looks like your thanksgiving was a big success!!

i think i spelled 'casualidad' wrong! i meant 'dad' not 'did'...and i meant to get whatever other letters i got wrong, right.

Hey I totally have that shirt too!!! We are so stylin'! I had turkey for breakfast and lunch today and I needed a break for dinner so we had frozen (cooked) pizza and fran's picnic cake which I also had for breakfast and lunch! yum..yum..

Hey Tina, yer pretty good with the Espanol. Muy bien! Or as I like to say Muy Bean!

Steph, I've never eaten a frozen pizza not cooked. Is it good? :) And, ya know what, I really don't remember Fran's Picnic Cake. Maybe you could put the recipe on here so I could make it and remember exactly what it is.

ps the shirt is very fall-like and I like it so it was perfect for Thanksgiving, don't you think? Plus, since I have stopped nursing I'm not as...busty so I like the way it fits betta!

you can't remember fran's picnic cake?!? it's the one where mom mixes the walnuts, choc chips, and brown sugar for the toppin' and you pick at it, wishing the walnuts weren't there. now i actually love the walunts, but as a kid it was all about the brown sugar and choc. mmmm...

i'm making that this year for christmas!

It's freakin' 9:17pm that's why you aren't in bed!!! (or is it listed as my CA time?)

Anyway, I couldn't believe Kathy can't remember Fran's picnic cake either. I remember eating so much I never wanted it again until the next Christmas! My offspring would not even try it! (well, Sasha did and loved it!!) I don't know where the other two get their genes. Why can't they all be like me? (ok, I sort of stole that line from a similar comment Tina said during a conversation we had this week, but sometimes it is just the right thing to say, so thanks Tina!)

Really, we all secretly think that everyone should think the way we do and act the way we do.

OKAY! OKAY! I'm gonna have to buy some dates to make this cake! Maybe just the olders had it lots. Nanc-, do you remember this cake?

I did make it yesterday and I can't get enough. Now that it's Monday, I'm off my vacation from eating carefully, so all this cake sitting around is dangerous!!

My kids like it, but they don't love the nuts. Don't all kids hate nuts?
