these are the post-snow pictures. we went for a walk through the trails across the street from our house and saw many broken trees. i loved to listen to the sound of the creaking ice as the wind blew. we saw and heard loud thuds as branches crashed around us. it was unbelievable!

This is real living in a real place. Wish we could be there, instead of out here in the belly of the beast, aka Sacramento, aka dirt town.
it's really unbelievable! it's a great place to live! but, the weather i love comes with plenty of weather i hate!
i think utah and colorado have perfect weather: great summers with no humidity, but nice and hot; great winters with lots of snow, but less ice. and a little less cold.
but, i'd LOVE it if you would move out here!!
That is CRAZY weather! Here in NM, they cancell school if there's just the tiniest bit of snow. It's pretty funny.
