New Blogger -- Google Accounts

Has everyone else been getting harassed by Google to change to their blog account to "New Blogger" with a Google account?

I can't get into my other blog admin pages because it keeps telling me I have to change to a Google account. However, when I attempt to make the change, it informs me that if I do, this site will also be upgraded to the new format--since apparently I created this blog way back when for you guys. It insists on upgrading all of the blogs I have created -- all at once.

I am afraid everyone may be inconvenienced by having to create a new "Google account" for themselves the next time they try to post. Please send Stephanie an email or respond here with your experiences.

Scott changed his and I haven't figured everything out yet. But if we have to change that's fine with me. Would you mind just telling us what we need to do, Vaughn?

I haven't had any emails about this, but will do whatever you need us to do, Vaughn. No worries

Hi peoples! When I change mine, I'll keep notes and send email about the experience. I suspect it will just walk us through step by step.

i changed my other blog and nothing weird happened. it's actually much better because the publishing is so much faster--you don't have to wait at all for 'publishing in progress'.

other than that, the only change i've noticed is when you leave a comment on someone else's blog, you have to sign in with the google acct. (i use gmail anyway [because it's GREAT] so the gmail thing was easy.)
