we are having some serious flooding here this week. of every family member here, our house is the only one that hasn't flooded. we're lucky! but, if it keeps raining, we could be in trouble. the river across the street from us is spilling out of the riverbed (see the 2nd picture where the water covers the trail), but it hasn't come up to us yet. i think the rain has stopped for now, so we will probably be ok. our weather this year has been really incredible!

That reminds me of when it flooded in Sacto. years ago and we went to the river and saw how high the water was. Weird. I hope you don't get flooded in your house. That seems sooooo hard to repair.
why aren't there any kids playing on jungle gym? C'mon! What a bunch of wimps! j/k
we actually saw someone right by the playground in a canoe!
I had no idea you were having anything like this going on! How are everyone's houses? Are they flooding a lot?
