Yesterday I went garage sale cruising with a friend of mine and I found one of those "machine guns" that has a simple rattle like sounds similar to a machine gun. Although we have had ZERO toy guns in our house, (not even water pistols) Jake picks up ANYTHING and uses it as a gun. i.e. pvc pipes, garden stakes, and even a stuffed Joseph from a Nativity scene. Yes, that's right. So I thought I would indulge him and I bought the 25 cent treasure. Man, that was (and still is) a huge success. Jake just loves that thing.
So for the "Quote of the day": Today, during Sacrament meeting Scott was talking to Jacob while the bread and water were being past. He whispered into Jake's ear that we needed to think about Jesus and his body and blood during sacrament and that he loves us. Jake then asked me if I was thinking of Jesus' blood and also asked Scott. And what he said next is the quote of the day or maybe the question of the day. He looks as Scott and asks "Does Jesus love guns?" We both tried hard not to laugh and also tried to answer the question.
DOES Jesus love guns? :)

My standard answer for strange comments like this is a quote from "joe vs. the Volcano", "I have no response to that!"
