Lose it!

Since Steph posted about one of her recent favorite things I thought I would share one of my recent favorite things.

This is an applications (or app) for an ipod touch or an iphone. It's called "Lose It". It is awesome and was FREE!....okay, well, you have to have an ipod touch or an iphone and they're like 25o bucks but aside for the 250 bucks, it's FREEEE!

It helps you loose weight (duh). You first put in your height, weight, age, your desired weight and how much you want to loose per week; 1, 1 1/2, or 2 pounds. It figures how many calories you can eat each day to lose weight. It has a huge library of food, most anything I eat is in there. It also keeps the food you enter in a different personalized library of food for you to find again, quicker. It also has a huge library of exercise. You enter in your exercise and it adds the calories to your intake so you can eat more and still technically lose weight. I LOVE IT! I've had it for about 2 or 3 weeks and it's great. It makes me more aware of how many calories are in something and helps me want to exercise more so I can eat more. It also helps me be patient. I'll get to my goal weight, loosing a pound a week, at the end of this year. It helps me see that it doesn't happen overnight like "The Biggest Loser".

I just hope I don't get bored or tired of it. We'll see. I'll keep you posted. But, as of now, it's my newest favorite thing.
