So what is this? This is a painting that's on the website describing the church's latest art competition. Here's a LINK about it. Steph and I talked about this like a year ago and I think that we are all capable of putting something in it, if we wanted to. We're all talented, right?! Anyway, I have something in mind and even though it scares me quite a bit to do something like this, I really want to do it. Entries have to be submitted before October 10, 2008. So, who's in? Think about it!

LDS Art Competition

i'm not sure this is a good forum for my art. did you look at last year's exhibit? it's all a lot more churchy and realistic than my stuff. there are modern pieces, too, but not many. there's nothing to be nervous about, though. either you'll get in or you won't. if you do, it's great. if you don't, it's not very painful. this will be your thought: darn.

Hey, this reminded me. Maybe you do not know my new calling is to be in the library- a teacher came in last Sunday requesting a picture of the Godhead. I told him I didn't think we were going to find a picture of the Holy Ghost. Can one of you guys get on that?
I made myself laugh another Sunday when a teacher checked out a picture of Christ and I wrote it down as a 'photo' of Christ. That would be pretty amazing!
