Happy 94th Birthday Grandma Richins has had a full Birthday Week. She is the social butterfly of Sisters, Oregon. On Monday she went with one of her great friends to Vickie's house (my old BYU roommate) for a delicious meal and her favorite chocolate cake.
Glen decorated her dining area with yellow and pink streamers with a huge bouquet of gladiolas in the center of the table and a handmade birthday card that reminded us that she is a Grand Ma !She has been to Lunch with Philip and his family, to dinner with good friends, and at church-they had a "Linger Longer" dinner after the meetings and she was surprised by a giant cupcake cake and the whole group (over 100) singing "Happy Birthday" to her. She couldn't wait to tell me when she got home.
She is still a member of the Sisters Garden Club, and her favorite quilters guild. She got a greatbook from Bill for her birthday (I think that it is called "The last lecture") and has already read the whole thing. She loved it. Harold sent her a beautiful beaded top that he purchased on his summer trip. She is a girl for all seasons. What a privilege it is to have her in our lives. We love you, Mom. Hope you continue to have a Happy and full 94th year. Love, Belva
