I don't remember what channel it was, but before MTV there was a show called Friday Night Videos that was only on Friday night- and it was late (like 11pm or something) and I usually fell asleep before then
I like this song with these words at least as much as the original.. what are the original words, anyway? No one knows- it didn't go along with the video storyline, I dont' think. This was always one of my favs
How funny!! I had to find the real video to see what the original words were. At the beginning of watching the spoof, I thought, "are these the right word?" because it sure sounded like the original singer. Funny!
I totally remember watching Friday Night Videoes...with Nick of course! He would stay up late watching and often record them on our giant VCR.

I remember that giant VCR. And didn't mom have to walk around with it when she was video recording? Oh, how wonderful are our modern times, huh?
