Gretta's Baptism

Sweet Gretta got baptized on Sunday at 5:00 and it was so nice. She was so excited and cheerful and not worried at all, which surprised me. Here she is loving Simon. Sweet girl..
..With her Dad

We asked mom to write a little talk that Vaughn read, and Sasha held up the pictures. It was so funny because V said she could just drop the pictures on the floor when it was time for the next one. So Literal Sasha would drop the picture from above her head and it would flutter down to the floor. There was a big pile scattered all over the floor by the time the talk was over!
Then Jonah gave a wonderful talk that he wrote all by himself. He was nervous, but did such a good job.

Here are the tasty treats we had. I should have made more! I talked about the Marshmallow fondant on WildMountain Foods.
Here is "the Fam". The picture needs to be cropped because the giant satellite looks pretty ridiculous, don't you think? But I'm in a hurry!
It was pretty hectic getting out of the house to the church on time and to make matters worse...there was Simon!! We are packing up stuff in the car when I look at Simon and his face is covered in white frosting!!! I wash him down in the sink and Jonah wipes down his onesie with a wet towel, then throws a shirt over the onesie!! As we leave, we see this nice little reminder that Simon left on the sofa! I let it dry and cleaned it up the next day. No sofa was ruined in the making of this mess.
And last of all.... Here is Gretta twirling in the backyard Sunday evening after the baptism.

She is a great girl.
We are so proud of her!
