Good News Bad News

Well, the good news is after a long time of waiting we finally found out this weekend When the Sacramento Temple will be dedicated. It will be dedicated on Sept. 3rd, which means that the open house will be July 29th thru Sept. 2nd!!! Our stake is really excitted and is pushing for lofty goals and spiritual experiences which I have to say, I am really looking forward to being able to participate in the event. The Temple is what everything is about lately. It is a huge focus of our activities and meetings, so it is really on my mind a lot.

The bad news is that I am really, really sad that you will all miss it by just a few short weeks. I tried to get mom to mention possibly August for Cousin's Camp but she never did. What an amazing oppertunity it would have been for our whole family to be able to go through the temple open house together! What an experience for our kids and family members who don't belong to our church. We will have to go to the Temple with you all here even if the open house will not have yet started. I am really bummed....darn.

Well, that is a bummer that we won't be there. I would love to see the Sacto Temple. I guess we can just go there during that time we are all together.

So, Emily have you bought your tickets yet? I think I'll be able to go!

That is unfortunate. It is such a special event. It was unforgettable for me when we went through the San Diego open house. I was about 14. A wonderful event. Xoxoxox.
