Little books

Well, Jonah is really been getting into reading lately. Problem is he had a Captain Underpants book that is just full of crap literally! It's gross and all about fighting alien boogers. It's full of wedgies and bodily functions and I don't need it.

So do any of you have some good suggestions on books for us to get him? There are just so many series things out there and I don't know anything about any of them. Any ideas? I just want to promote better reading than Captain Underpants and Calvin and Hobbes. I love Calvin but chapters would be nice.

He loved everything you sent him awhile ago, Emily. Thanks!!

I am having withdrawls from not getting to hang with all of you anymore. boo hoo hoo...

You can try A to Z mysteries, Gerinimo Stilton, Magic Tree House books, Bailey School Kids series, and Junie B Jones (which has a girl main character but is pretty darn funny none-the-less)

Miss you guys!

I agree with all of Emily's suggestions. Also, Davis likes the Bionicle books, the Star Wars books, Funny Frank by Dick King-Smith (and several others by him--Davis has read lots of his!), also Freddy books by Dietlof Reiche (there's 3 of those and Davis loves them) and he loves the Warriors series by Erin Hunter (about a bunch of cats in the wild-these might be a little more advanced).

It's so fun when kids love to read! I've seen Captain Underpants, but luckily my kids haven't been interested in them so far.

I miss you guys too!
Emily, thanks for the shoes and pants. I didn't know Lila's shoes were left there too!! Duh! Thanks!!
