Run Races, They're Fun

These pics are of Robert and me after running a small local race on Sat. Robert won the 1oK, and I won the 5K in my heat. I was the only one in my age division, though, so I'd win no matter what. I did a pretty good job on speed though. R smokes everyone in real life, of course. Anyway, running local races is a great way to be seduced by running culture and wanting to run more. I think half marathons or less are a great occasional Saturday activity, and a good way to get yourself hyped up and a little more driven to stay fit. In this small race, the prize was this cranberry bread. It's tradition. Thoughtful, but the runners were joking that the ingredient "cranberry" was around the fifteenth listed after all the fourteen forms of sugar. p.s. Who changed the template of the blog?

cute pictures! i didn't know Robert was such a great runner! i just thought he 'ran'. And good job to you, too! I love running, but I'm very slow. I don't know if I'll even get faster! I keep running because I feel happier in every aspect of my life when I run. Honestly! It's the best!!

I hope the cranberries were delicious!

p.s. i changed the template of our blog. i'm going to fancy-it-up a little, too, when i get a chance. do you mind? does anyone? i was thinking it would get the blog rolling again....

Awesome! Jonah asked me if either of you won any money. I said you won cranberry bread. Sorry, but he wasn't too impressed with that! I wish I was a runner but I can't breath. Maybe that is a sign I should run!!

I was a bit confused with the new look of the blog. It could use a little fancying and I am sure Tina will do a great job!

Hey Nancy and Robert!

Great job on the run! I guess yummy cranberry bread is better than a kick in the teeth, huh? I do like running. It feels like it cleans out your system. I like doing other stuff as well.

Sorry Ihaven't been posting much of ANYTHING!!! See, we had dial-up for a bit, yea, dial-up. And it was so freaking slow I could just not handle it so I wasn't on the internet much but today we just got high-speed again! OH BABY!
So you'll be seeing me more often!
