Stranger Than Fiction

I saw this movie, Stranger Than Fiction, months ago and I wanted to post about it but I couldn't so now I get to. I REALLY liked this movie. It was quirky and I really loved Will Ferrell's character. He's a little OCD and I LOVE LOVE LOVE they way that is portrayed in the movie, with graphics of what and how he thinks. I actually want to rent it again and watch it two more times, once just the way it is and another time with the commentary. If you haven't seen it you should.

I give it two thumb up!

Welcome back Kath!! I'm glad your back in the blogging world.

I second your opinion on this movie! We even made mom and dad watch it because me and V. loved it so much. I have read and seen things lately that have really made we want to stretch myself more in my life, do more of what I love-- just make my life better.

It started with reading "The Hiding Place". Next with Kermit Smith's funeral, then shortly after that Jan Meinzer's funeral. Then this odd movie... All these things give me motivation to try a little harder!

I didn't mean to go on so long but I do love this movie.

I'm not joking. Just as I was walking to work this morning, I asked myself: "Self, if someone asked what your fav. movie was, what would you say? 'Stranger Than Fiction,' most certainly." Fav. questions are usually difficult for me to answer. So, I'm pretty proud of myself when I can pin them down. STF would be an easy response.

I'm so happy that you agree! I want to rent it again! Scott will be going out of town next week so I'll get it then.

i want to see it again, too! i loved it!

i saw it close to the same time i saw talledega nights and i mix up scenes in my mind. i loved both movies, but for different reasons.

nanc, i can never narrow down favorites either. green is my favorite color, good chocolate might be my favorite treat, sushi might be my favorite food...but movies, artists, music, etc. always stump me. (but when i find something i love, i get obsessed!! i've been listening to nothing but the decemberists or joanna newsom for the past 6 months!! not literally, but almost.)

I liked Talladega Nights too, although it did have a few nasty/unnecessary parts. But Scott and I DIED laughing watching his blessing on the food! SO FUNNY...Scott that is was a tad sacrelig-. And when they talk about how they imagine Jesus. Did you see the extras about that part? They showed about 6 or 7 different phrases that his friend said about that. Very Funny!
